2nd Installment Tax Bills for Real Estate and Personal Property will be mailed out on Monday, December 18th.  2022 Supplemental Motor Vehicle Bills were mailed out on November 30, 2023. These bills are due January 1, 2024, and payment can be made until February 1, 2024 with any interest or penalties.  If you have already paid your bill in full, you will not receive a bill. If you do not receive a bill, please check online to see if you have a balance, or please feel free to email us at taxcollector@wiltonct.org.   

The Tax Collector’s office is responsible for collecting tax revenue on all taxable property in its jurisdiction in the Town of Wilton. 

Taxes are determined by multiplying the net assessed value of taxable property by a mill rate. Under the General Statutes, the Tax Collector is responsible for calculating, issuing, collecting, and managing property tax receivables. Under the Town Charter and ordinances, the Tax Collector has the same responsibilities for sewer and water capital assessments and sewer user charges.
