Major Widening of Route 7
Town of Wilton
The Connecticut Department of Transportation in cooperation with the Town of Wilton will be holding their third public information meeting to provide an update on the reconstruction and widening of U. S. Route 7.
The meeting will include general discussion, progress to date, a timeline for road work and objectives in 2008.
Residents, commuters, and other interested individuals are encouraged to attend.
The overall project to widen Route 7 in Wilton will accommodate two travel lanes, both northbound and southbound, for a length of approximately three miles from Wolfpit Road to Olmstead Hill Road. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2010.
