KEY CHANGES IN MECHANICAL TO NOTE

REPLACEMENT OF GAS HEATING APPLIANCES TO GAS AND OIL HEATING APPLIANCES TO OIL REQUIRES A CERTFIED INSPECTION OF THE MASONRY CHIMNEY

CONVERTING FROM OIL TO GAS REQUIRES AN INSPECTION OF THE MASONRY CHIMNEY AND THE INSTALLATION OF A LINER.

A BLOCKED VENT SWITCH IS NOW REQUIRED FOR OIL FIRED APPLIANCES.

NEW ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENT MUST COMPLY WITH THE 2020 NEC

REQUIRES SURGE PROTECTIVE DEVICES ON NEW AND REPLACEMENT SERVICE EQUIPMENT FOR DWELLING UNITS

ALL NEW 1 AND 2 FAMILY DWELLING UNITS REQUIRE THE SERVICE DISCONNECT TO BE INSTALLED IN A READILY ACCESSIBLE OUTDOOR LOCATION.
