Candidates should have the dedication, passion and commitment to work for energy efficiency, carbon emission reduction, and sustainable practices community  wide. Experience and knowledgeable in one or more of these areas are needed by the Commission:

  • Energy Benchmarking
  • Building Systems / HVAC / Building Automation
  • Renewable Energy Systems (Solar, Geothermal)
  • Building Codes / LEED ( Leadership in Energy and Design) / High Performance Buildings
  • US EPA Energy Star Programs
  • Clean Energy Criteria / market / State goals
  • Communication:
    • Website, Presentation Skills, Powerpoint
    • Excel, Charts, Graphs
    • Report, Plan Formatting
Members should be able to commit 2 ½ hr per month for the monthyly Commission Meeting and at least 10 hours per month during business hours in assisting the Town, schools and residents in endeavors to save energy costs and resources.
