75 and Up-Online Vaccine Registration Portal & Phone Registration Are Now Available

Residents aged 75 and up are now eligible for vaccines.  Appointments may be made either online and or phone.

  • By phone:  The phone option is only available for residents, who are age 75 and up.  If you are helping a resident aged 75 and up and you are younger than 75, you are asked not to use the phone option.  The state sponsored phone number to call is 877-918-2224. Phone service is available from 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m. Monday through Friday. There is a call back feature.  Please expect delays.
  • Online:  Registration and appointments are made through the CDC’s VAMS system. The link is available here.  A registration tutorial prepared by Social Services is available here.  Three important tips: You must have an email to register. Enter your email in lower case. When asked if you have registered for the vaccine, they are asking if you have an appointment. Answer no.

If you have questions or need help with the registration process, Wilton’s Social Services Department is ready to help.  Please contact Director of Social Services Sarah Heath or Social Services/Senior Center Coordinator Stephanie Rowe.

Appointments for those 75 and up are available as of Monday, January 18th, unless there is an open same-day appointment available prior to Monday.  If there is an open same-day appointment, you may schedule that appointment.  Please honor these instructions provided by the Governor on Tuesday to allow Phase 1A medical emergency workers to obtain the vaccine through the weekend.

You may schedule at any location in any community.

If you schedule an appointment online and subsequently need to change the date or time, you must first cancel your original appointment and then reschedule. If you can't make your appointment, please cancel.  Even a last minute cancellation will allow someone else to receive the vaccine.
