Coronavirus Update- Forward Movement, COVID Testing Sign-Up & Case Data

December 4th – Wilton’s Adrienne Reedy outshone the tree with her performance at tonight’s tree lighting.  If you missed the broadcast, you can watch it on this link.  Thank you Adrienne and the team behind the video.

Many of you recognized Adrienne from Wilton Rocks For Food. Although the annual sold-out show isn’t happening tomorrow, founder Andy Schlesinger is not deterred.  He’s been fundraising for weeks to raise $80,000 for the Connecticut Food Pantry and the Wilton Food Pantry.  Learn more at WiltonRocks.com, including how to guarantee a ticket for next year.

The Governor and CT DPH released a weekly estimated vaccine distribution schedule through January 30th.  All 212,000 members of Phase 1.a are estimated to have receive both doses of the vaccinations. Members of Phase 1.b will begin receiving their first dose.  Phase 1.a includes medical workers, nursing home residents and medical emergency responders.  Phase 1.b includes, among others, older residents, at risk residents and critical workforce, including other emergency responders, teachers, foodservice workers and others who interact directly with the public.  Seeing these numbers give us confidence that we are moving forward.
