Records

The Records Division serves as a place of deposit for the records of the Department including arrest reports, incident reports, accident reports, and parking tickets.  The Records Division is an auditing agency for every branch of the Police Department and is responsbile for the submission of crime statistics via the National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS).

A police report may be obtained by contacting the Wilton Police Department’s Records Division at (203) 834-6257.  The Records Division is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.  

Documents are reproduced at a cost of .50 cents per page. If you are unable to get to the department during these hours, arrangements can be made to leave a copy of the report at the front desk to be picked up at your convenience.

Most accident reports are also available for purchase online at https://www.buycrash.com You will need to enter the date of the accident and your case number in ten-digit format (example: 1900012345).
