Health Department
The Wilton Health Department is responsible for enforcing state statutes and regulations pertaining to septic systems, wells, food service licenses and other matters. A full-time director, who also serves as the Chief Sanitarian, and an Assistant Sanitarian, staff the department. Both staff members are certified to perform required inspections of septic system installations and food service establishments.
The department is dedicated to ensuring a safe and healthy community for all residents and visitors by engaging in a proactive approach to health, safety, disease surveillance, and prevention.
Monday to Friday:
8:00 am to 4:00 pm by phone or email.
Walk-ins welcome during the week as follows: 8 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. - Monday, Wednesday and Friday; Tuesday and Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please go to reception desk at the public access side entrance of Town Annex. Before your visit please call or email the Health Department at health@wiltonct.org to discuss requirements and ensure a Sanitarian is available. Drop Box Services are available all day.
