Animal Control

Animal Control is a division of the Wilton Police Department which enforces State laws on domestic pets and wildlife and Wilton dog ordinances. Animal Control investigates reports of animal bites, roaming dogs, animal cruelty, excessive barking complaints, sick or injured domestic pets or wildlife. It also enforces rabies control by quarantining biting animals pursuant to State Law and investigates reports of potentially rabid wildlife. Animal Control houses and cares for homeless and abandoned domestic pets and finds them suitable homes.
