The Town Clerk’s office records all certificates of Birth, Marriage, and Death.
Birth Certificates
Certified copies of birth certificates can be issued for people who were born in Wilton, or whose parents were residents of Wilton at the time of the birth. A certified copy of a birth certificate may be obtained from the Wilton Town Clerk’s office in person or by mail. In person, bring a completed Application for a Certified Copy of Birth Certificate, cash or check (payable to Town of Wilton), and proper ID to the Wilton Town Clerk’s office. By mail, please send completed Application for a Certified Copy of Birth Certificate, cash or check (payable to Town of Wilton), copy of proper ID, and a self-addressed stamped envelope to Wilton Town Clerk’s office.
Marriage Licenses
Certified copies of marriage licenses can be issued for parties who were married in Wilton, or for parties married within the State of Connecticut, that resided in Wilton at the time of their marriage. A certified copy of a marriage license may be obtained from the Wilton Town Clerk’s office in person or by mail.
