Wilton’s Annual Townwide Cleanup Day, Sponsored by the Wilton Conservation Commission
Saturday, April 6, 2024, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Call to Action for Wilton’s Annual Townwide Cleanup Day!
The Wilton Conservation Commission is looking for volunteers to join them for the 2024 Townwide Cleanup Day on Saturday, April 6th, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Meet at the Gazebo on the Town Green to receive work gloves and trash bags, then head out with your fellow Wiltonites to pick up litter along Wilton’s roadways, and the banks of the Norwalk River. All ages are welcome!
“I encourage our Wilton families, friends and neighbors to join the Conservation Commission in its 26th Annual Townwide Clean Up Day. This town beautification activity, that promotes a cleaner environment, is a great way to meet your neighbors. Your involvement will send a positive message, as well as model responsible environmental stewardship for youths; it says that our environment is a priority in helping to create a healthier community. I hope to meet you personally on April 6th!” said Toni Boucher, First Selectman.
All work materials and dumpsters will be provided by the Wilton Conservation Commission.
Wilton Hardware and Wilton Kiwanis have both donated to the Townwide Cleanup Day Raffle. To be eligible to enter the raffle, volunteers must collect a full garbage bag of litter and bring it the Town Green for disposal. The raffle will be drawn promptly at noon on April 6, 2024, and you must be present to win.
Pinocchio Pizza will be giving each volunteer a coupon for one free slice of cheese pizza for helping out.
