Coronavirus Update- Storm Prep & Case Data

December 15th –In light of Wednesday’s forecasted weather event,  Wilton Seniors Drive-Thru Lunch will begin an hour earlier at 10:00 a.m.

Heavy snow with accumulations of over 12 inches is forecasted, along with wind gusts.  If you haven’t already done so, please sign-up for alerts and make note of the following information:

The following is data, as of 8:30 p.m. last night, from today’s CT DPH report versus yesterday’s December 14th report:

  • Wilton:  5 new cases reported. 550 cases YTD.  
  • Statewide:  1,470 new cases.  5.98% of the 24,580 new tests reported were positive.  155,462 cases YTD.
  • Fairfield County 571 new cases.  48,879 cases YTD.
  • Hospitalized Patients:  Statewide1,269 with a 26-net patient increaseFairfield County303 with a 4-net patient decrease.
  • Deaths:  Statewide, 5,466 with 22 new deaths.  Fairfield County, 1,607 with 5 new deaths.  Wilton, 45, with no new deaths.
