Scribner Hill Road-Lane Closure

A small section of the northbound lane of Scribner Hill Road, just north of Blue Ridge Road, has sustained damage. The Town is engaging a geotechnical engineer to evaluate the section.
In the meantime, the impacted section of the northbound lane is closed as of today, June 9, 2022. The southbound lane is open to alternating traffic utilizing temporary stop signs. Use of an alternate route is encouraged.
Director of Public Works/Town Engineer Frank Smerigilo will be monitoring conditions on a daily basis. Updates will be provided as information becomes available. The timeframe of the closure is currently unknown.
