Coronavirus Update- Case Data

November 30th- The following is data from today’s CT DPH report versus Friday’s November 27th report:
- Wilton: 10 new cases reported. 466 cases YTD.
- Statewide: 4,714 new cases. 4.41% of new tests reported were positive. 117,295 cases YTD.
- Fairfield County: 1,234 new cases. 38,305 cases YTD.
- Hospitalized Patients: Statewide, 1,098 with an 81-net patient increase. Fairfield County, 335, with a 34-net patient increase.
- Deaths: Statewide, 5,020 with 59 new deaths. Fairfield County, 1,507 with 16 new deaths. Wilton, 44, with one new death. We have no details about the death.
Cases newly known to Wilton’s Health Department ranged in age from 20 to 63.
As per the following chart, we continue to see a decline in cases among younger school-aged residents.
